Location:
On the A9 at the Lynebeg realignment as well as the Tomatin relaignment on the A9 Dualling: Tomatin to Moy section
Description:
Overnight temporary traffic signals and a short lane closure will be in operation on the A9 at the Lynebeg realignment as well as on the Tomatin realignment . These temporary traffic signals will be manually operated at all times to manage traffic flows and will allow for essential maintenance works to safely take place on the A9 carriageway. During peak times (19:30 – 21:30), only one set of temporary traffic signals will be in operation at a time. During off-peak times (21:30 – 06:00), road users will experience two sets of temporary traffic signals, one at the Lynebeg realignment and the other at the Tomatin realignment.
These works, and the associated traffic management measures, are essential to ensure the safety of both road users and the workforce, as activities will be carried out close to live traffic on the A9.
Works have been planned overnight to minimise disruption to A9 road users
Pedestrian and emergency service access will be maintained at all times.
