Temporary overnight traffic signals on A9 for two nights

Location

Between the Tomatin North junction and the start of the existing dual carriageway, appoximately 1.5 miles south of the B815 junction to Fort Augustus.

Description

Maintenance and repair works are being undertaken on the A9 carriageway. To allow these works to proceed safely an overnight closure will be in place. Traffic signals will be in place to manage traffic through the late closure, which will be limited to short 100 metre sections of carriageway.

The works will take place at various locations during the works, the traffic signals will be manned at all times to manage traffic flow and access for emergency vehicles and non-motorised users at crossing points will be maintained at all times.

The overnight traffic signals and lane closure will be in place between 19:00 Wednesday 10 December and 06:00 Thursday 11 December and between 19:00 Thursday 11 December and 6:00 Friday 12 December.
