A9 Tay Crossing to Ballinluig - temporary traffic signals and lane closures for site clearance works

On the A9 between Jubilee Bridge and Ballinluig.

Description

Overnight temporary traffic signals and convoy system will be in place from Monday 24 November 2025 for approximately four months. Road users will be stopped at temporary traffic signals and a convoy system will guide them through the works area. 

A temporary speed restriction of 30mph will also be implemented on approach to, and throughout the works area.

These works are required to facilitate site clearance works and temporary site access construction works. 

Date and time:

The overnight traffic signals will be in place for approximately four months from Monday 24 November 2025 until March 2026 between the hours of 1930 and 0600 each evening. There will be no work carried out on Saturday or Sunday nights.

During the Christmas period, this traffic management will be temporarily removed between 17 December 2025 and 7 January 2026.
